8 Awesome Zombie Movies

In no particular order here are 8 awesome zombie movies!

1.I Am Legend

I am Legend is easily one of the best zombie movies of all time. It has unique zombies, a great plot and of course Will Smith! A lone survivor with his dog researching the infection in hopes to save others, always hoping to find someone else alive. Nature has invaded the city, with wild animals running free and the infected lurking in the dark every day is a risk.

2. Pandemic

Pandemic is a zombie movie that will keep you on edge. It has an awesome mixture of first person views putting you right in the center of the action. An apocalypse where there are multiple levels of infection and some of the infected are just desperate people that need help, desperate but dangerous. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the zombies could talk and even plan against you, well this movie answers that question with zombies attacking the characters while screaming help meeeee.

3. World War Z

World War Z seems to have had a lot of criticism but I'm still excited to read the book. This movie had me on the edge of my seat. I found world war Z to be quite unique compared to many zombie movies. With a perfect mix between solo survivor and his family and the military fighting the infection and constantly changing scenarios it easily keeps you excited for the next moment.

4. Shawn Of The Dead

I'm not sure it would be possible to create a more perfect zombie comedy. I mean I don't think I have ever seen Simon Pegg and Nick Frost pair up and make a bad movie, the two are hilarious together.

5. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is an awesome, unique spin on zombie lore. In a time long ago, badass female characters fight the apocalypse while getting entangled in romantic subplots. Normally I'm not a huge fan of romantic subplots but for this movie I couldn't help be swept up in them and be shocked from plot twists.

6. Zombieland

Zombieland is another epic zombie comedy. With zombie kills of the week and Woody Harrelson's never ending search for twinkys this movie has the perfect combination of comedy and drama.

7. Warm Bodies

Originally I wasn't going to watch warm bodies because of the romance but I found it to actually be really funny and have a unique take on zombie lore. With some zombies still slightly functioning and others being crazed skeletons it is definitely one for the list.

8. Contagion

With heartbreaking drama of a father trying to protect his family and scientists trying to fight the infection it is easily one that will keep you hooked.
