We all get bored from time to time. Whether it's because we have nothing to do or just simply feel bored and don't feel like doing anything. Here I've collected some ideas on what to do when you're bored.

Inside

1. Bake something yummy

2. Take a nap

3. Watch a movie

4. Curl up with a blanket and a hot chocolate

5. Paint your nails

6. Do something on your to-do list

7. Dance!

8. Organise your junk draw (you know you have one)

9. Do a puzzle

Whether it's a jigsaw puzzle or a brainteaser like a crossword it can be a refreshing change of pace.

10. Try origami

http://www.origami-instructions.com/ Here's a website to get you started.

11. Craft!

Try pinterest and etsy for inspiration!

12. Paint

13. Workout (you know that workout you've been planning to attempt since new years)

14. Have an indoor picnic

Put down a snuggly blanket and some comfy cushions and make some food. Could be a relaxing guilt-free way to eat plates of all little different foods/snacks or you could invite someone to joing you and have a chat. Added bonus if you have a fireplace to sit by! Which can also add a romantic touch for a spontaneous date night, just add wine.

15. Watch a movie or tv show on silent and make up the dialog yourself with a friend

16. Create a new recipe

This could be anything from creating a new pasta dish or simply trying new spices on fried eggs.

Outside

1. Pick Flowers for decoration or give them to a stranger along with a compliment.

2. Watch the stars

3. Relax in the sun

(Be sun smart though and wear sunscreen if you plan to be out for long)

4. Have a picnic

5. Go for a walk somewhere new

(Probably try not to get lost though unless you have GPS or something)

6. Meditate

Sit on the grass or outdoor seating or put down a yoga mat or a comfy blanket.

include links to meditation)

7. Go for a bike ride

At school

1. Snack on lollies hidden in your pencil case.

2. Fidget

3. Write notes to each others

Just because we have phones and this is 2016 doesn't mean it can't be fun! For extra fun include drawings in the notes.

As a side note I encourage education and getting your work done but there's just those days where you're so bored you can't concentrate.

All or random

1. Read a book

2. Write a blog

3. Play a game

4. Try to have a conversation with someone by using only song lyrics or movie lines

5. Write a book

6. Draw

7. Google something you've always wanted to know

8. Listen to music

Listen to some of your old favourites or even discover new music. Some great places to discover new music include Spotify, Youtube, 8Tracks or simply radio.

9. Brainstorm an imaginary world

You could brainstorm the environments in it, what creatures exist, religions, cultures or even fashion. This could be for fun or you could use it as inspiration or a basis for fiction writing or artwork, even if you don't use it for your own work you could share it with others to help inspire them or give them somewhere to start from.

10. Write someone a letter

11. Learn something you've always wanted to learn

This could be through reading an entire book, simply an article or by using an app. There are great apps and websites such as Duolingo that teach you things like other languages.

12. Write a poem

13. Try to invent something

14. Make a logo for yourself

15. Make up a theme song for yourself

16. Play a harmless prank on a friend or sibling

17. Do homework

Yes it's not very entertaining but it will get you focused on something else for a moment. Meaning after your done (even if you only do it for 10 minutes) you might have an idea of what to do or maybe procrastination will kick in and you'll think of something haha.

18. Create a bucketlist

There are tons of ideas out there, create your own ideas or google ideas or look on pinterest for great inspiration.

19. Make up a language and try to convince someone it's real

20. Watch funny commercials on youtube

21. Photography

Try to take a beautiful or artistic photo of anything around you.

22. Watch a Ted talk

Ted talks can be really inspiring, informative or just simply interesting.

23. Create a Pinterest board

Warning this can get addictive. They can be of any topic you want, anything on pinterest and if you have the browser add-on you can pin anything off other websites.

24. Window shop online

Wish, thinkgeek and amazon are great places to look.
